TOTALLY TEEN SUMMER

In 2025, it is high time we embark on a fuller exploration of American teen culture- a culture as rich as any- complete with its own shared system of beliefs and symbols, language, clothing and constantly-changing traditions. In short, teens are way more than the sum of their worries and worries about them. That is why the young creators behind The Museum of Contemporary American Teenager (MoCAT) are thrilled to present Totally Teen Summer.

Together, we will explore the joys, passions, visions, hopes, and, of course, struggles that make up the layered, rich and complex culture of American teens. We will also explore the impact American teen culture has had on our world and the impact our world is having on today’s teenagers.
